Objectives
The objectives of Colegio Internacional de Carabobo are:
- To construct an intellectually stimulating school on a foundation of basic skills and to insure that security, innovation, motivation, and challenge are the benchmarks of every classroom.
- To develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills in students while cultivating an appreciation of learning (for the sake of knowledge) that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
- To provide enrichment and remedial opportunities for students, so they can explore their own unique qualities and develop self-esteem; and to provide assistance for those who have social or academic needs.
- To offer stimulating and educationally-sound extra-curricular programs that develop individual talents, creativity, leadership, interpersonal and social skills, teamwork, fitness, and sportsmanship.
- To provide students with opportunities to express themselves in music, art, writing, and drama so their talent in these disciplines can reach its full potential.
- To maintain a relevant and contemporary curriculum which prepares students for universities, employment, family roles, and global citizenship.
- To nurture interpersonal relationships between all members of the CIC community and to insure that communication among parents, students, faculty, and administration is honest and unimpeded.
- To set and expect high standards for academic performance, integrity, and personal conduct.
- To develop sound ethical research capabilities based on information literacy and to keep abreast of changes in technology.
- To employ teachers and administrators whose character and demeanor
are models for students to emulate and to maintain.
